President Trump wants to get illicit Chinese vapes off our streets. To accomplish this goal, we don’t need to eliminate popular vapes helping Americans quit smoking deadly cigarettes. We need to target the vapes that target kids with video games, phone apps, and cartoon characters that evade FDA safety checks. But, the Food and Drug Administration and the Customs and Border Patrol are following President Biden’s vape ban policy – attacking U.S. small businesses, hurting American adults trying to quit smoking, and directly betraying the President’s promise to protect the flavored vaping industry.
